Amanda Weisiger Cornelson serves as President of Weisiger Group, representing the fourth generation of Weisiger family members to lead the business. Amanda's tenure with the company has been diverse, encompassing roles in various departments such as branch management, rental, product support, sales, and finance. In her role, she oversees the leaders of the company’s operating divisions, Carolina Cat & LiftOne, and the Weisiger Group shared services group. Her focus is on the company’s vision, strategy, and culture, driving profitable growth and high performance, ensuring alignment in manufacturing partnerships, allocating capital for investments, managing community, customer, and employee relationships, and championing the importance of talent management and change management.
In addition to those responsibilities, Amanda is heavily involved with industry and manufacturer associations and serves on committees for the Carolinas AGC Council on Women in Construction and Caterpillar’s international Dealer Digital Council. Prior to joining the family business, Amanda co-founded and led a startup in the retail and e-commerce sector, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and has enhanced her knowledge through continued education, including various programs with Harvard Business School.
Beyond her professional commitments, Amanda is deeply engaged in philanthropic endeavors and community service. She serves on the boards of Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA, Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Foundation, Sullenberger Aviation Museum, and UNC Charlotte Foundation. Amanda resides in Charlotte, NC, with her husband, two children, and their two chocolate labs. Her multifaceted roles as a business leader, entrepreneur, and community advocate reflect her commitment to upholding her family's legacy while making a meaningful impact in the world around her.
Matt Nazzaro joined Weisiger Group as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in April 2016 to oversee Credit, Accounting, Financial Planning/Analysis, Tax, Philanthropy, Real Estate, Facilities, and the Procurement/Fleet departments. In June 2022, Matt was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and oversees the daily management of the company.
Before joining Weisiger Group, Matt held leadership roles at GE Capital where he most recently led the Financial Planning and Analysis organization for the Americas Commercial Lending and Leasing division.
After joining GE through the Financial Management Program at GE Plastics, Matt worked on the Corporate Audit Staff and ultimately transitioned into financial services. Over the following 8 years at GE Capital, he held roles of increasing responsibility in FP&A, capital markets, and strategic pricing for the equipment leasing division.
Matt has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Boston University and an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Mike is the Executive Vice President of Carolina Cat, responsible for both the Construction and Power Systems businesses. In this role, he is responsible for strategic leadership of a diverse team of sales, rental, parts, service, and operational support.
Mike joined the Weisiger Group family as a Machine Sales Manager for Carolina Cat in 2011. Since then, he has held leadership roles of increasing responsibility across the Construction business, including leading the Product Support organization. Before assuming leadership of our Power Systems business, Mike served as the Vice President/GM of Construction for 3 years.
Mike began his career as an Industry Representative at Caterpillar Inc., and worked for Ring Power as the Cat Rental Store Sales Manager prior to joining Carolina Cat. Mike has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University and an MBA from the University of Florida.
Mark Drummond joined Weisiger Group in 2012, and serves as the President of LiftOne material handling division. Mark has spent most of his 25+ year career in the Material Handling business. He started at a young age working for a small lift truck dealership in Michigan and worked in many areas of the business including time as a technician prior to attending college at Michigan State University.
Before returning to the Material Handling business after college he worked for a large company in Chicago in the Finance department. Mark returned to the Material Handling industry with Mid-State Industrial and purchased it from the owner in 1998.
After 12 years of running a high performing Hyster dealership in Michigan and Indiana he sold his business and joined Barloworld Handling in 2010. In 2012 he assisted in the acquisition of Barloworld Handling and the transition to LiftOne. He worked as the Vice President of the South Region and the Vice President of Operations before becoming President of LiftOne in 2017.
Mark has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Finance from Michigan State University.
Paul Costa joined Weisiger Group as Chief Financial Officer in September 2023. In this role, Paul leads the accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, credit, fleet, and facilities functions across the Company. He will drive proactive analysis and optimization of company assets and financial performance, playing a key role in shaping corporate strategy.
With over 20 years of experience in financial leadership, Paul previously served as CFO at JLL Work Dynamics, Americas, and held significant roles within Equipment Finance at GE Capital and Wells Fargo. His deep expertise, including his tenure as a Board Member for Hyster-Yale Group Financial Services, positions him as a valuable asset to our organization. Most recently, Paul was Head of Business Development for Wells Fargo Vendor Financial Services, where he successfully built strong teams and navigated complex challenges to deliver results.
Originally from Connecticut, Paul graduated from Western Connecticut State University. Since 2005, he has resided in Southlake, TX, with his wife Phuong and their daughters, Emma and Bella, who both attend the University of Texas at Austin. Paul and Phuong will be relocating to Charlotte, NC, and they enjoy traveling, discovering new restaurants, and supporting their favorite sports teams.
Ames Flynn joined Weisiger Group as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer in September 2022. He has more than 30 years of IT management experience in both large and mid-size companies, including Delhaize America/Food Lion, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Michaels Stores, Rent-A-Center, Extended Stay America, and Furniture Brands International. Ames also served as an IT assessment and best practices operating principal consultant for Davidson Kempner Partners, a private equity firm with more than 15 operating companies in various industries around the world. In addition to IT, Ames has led other business departments in his career, including procurement, marketing, e-commerce, supply chain, and customer and franchising services.
He attended Wake Forest University where he received a B.S. in business and an MBA. Ames is also active in the community, currently serving as an elder/finance committee chairperson at First Presbyterian Church in Salisbury, NC, and as the board chairperson of Apparo, a Charlotte-area nonprofit that provides technology consulting and coaching to other local nonprofits to amplify their impact.
Kevin Ward joined Weisiger Group in February 2023 as SVP, Chief People Officer. In his role, Kevin leads the Human Resources function for all the Company’s businesses and locations.
Kevin has over 28 years of progressively increasing responsibility as a trusted business partner and human resources leader. Throughout his career, he has focused on aligning people and business priorities to drive key strategic outcomes.
Most recently, Kevin was the SVP of People at Shipt where he led the build out of the HR function and implementation of a variety of programs, processes, and systems. Prior to Shipt, he held business partner and leadership roles at Sage, Fiserv, First Data, Hewitt Associate, Houston McLane Company, and Perry Homes.
He attended the University of Oklahoma where he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in Human Relations.
Stacy Gray joined Weisiger Group in April 2022 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She oversees legal, risk, ethics, safety, indirect procurement and fleet compliance.
Stacy joins Weisiger Group after more than nine years at Belk, Inc., most recently as senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary. Prior to her time with Belk, she was an attorney with Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta and Charlotte. Additionally, she served as a law clerk for The Honorable Joseph R. Goodwin in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
Stacy currently serves as a board member of Charlotte’s American Heart Association. She previously served on the boards of Charlotte's Association of Corporate Counsel (and served as President in 2021) and the James J. Harris Branch Family YMCA. Stacy is also a graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class XXXV, a member of Women Executives and of the North Carolina, Georgia, New York and Mecklenburg County Bar Associations. She has received multiple awards, including Charlotte Business Journal’s Outstanding General Counsel, Outstanding In-House Legal Department and Women in Business Awards.
She earned a Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
